Granger Industries was initially established in 1994 by John Grimes, a 40 year pioneer, intrinsic throughout the history of the Rotational Molding. His father, John Grimes Sr., was among the "founding fathers" of the Rotational Molding Industry in the United States. After starting the business with some other partners, John swiftly out grew the companys initial Sharonville, location in it's initial 2 years. In 1996, needing to move for required growth & development; John and his business partner decided on another Cincinnati-Dayton area suburb, Middletown, OH. It was at this time, John began branching Granger Plastics Company into brand-new possibilities that became valuable, long term partnerships for Granger Plastics Company.
As Granger Industries expanded into an eclectic number of markets, OEMS as well as manufacturing bases, Granger found it imperative to continuously expand in to additional regions and additional opportunities. Over the last couple of years, Granger has made a variety of large capital investments, growing current warehousing capabilities to assist in maintaining product costs, raw material costs, commodities pricing, while increasing metal fabrication equipment to aide in it's internal tooling fabrications and also rotational mold repairs. Granger has also made great strides in working with a number of additives and effects leaders in the materials industries to stay on the leading forefront of rotational molding material developments.
